As a survivor of satanic ritual abuse and human trafficking, I have been on a healing journey for over 40 years and if you count the years I was surviving the trauma 65. I have often been told I need to write a book. I may but I can not really accomplish this task until I am healed, as I long ago determined my approach would be to tell a story of healing to give praise and honor to God and intertwine events as background.
The past couple of months I have been reading Dr. Peter A. Levine's works, there are many. He has made a career in healing trauma.
I'm posting for a couple of reasons - we can not help others until we help ourselves and are healed and we all have undergone trauma to some extent - just 2020 alone. He mentions that a quarter of the women in the world have been sexually abused as children, that's a lot of us friends. The majority of us have traumas from childhood doctor appointments, car accidents, and other seemingly simpler events. Even if you don't have trauma "stuck" understanding these principles with help you assist others.
So for starters here is an excellent article that explains why we can not just think our way out (i.e. talk therapy alone or writing out our memories in journals - helpful yes but not enough).

For those interested in delving deeper - "Healing Trauma", "Walking the Tiger", "In an Unspoken Voice", "Complex PTSD Workbook" are titles that take this further authored by Peter A. Levine, PhD.
Thank you for caring enough to read this far! Have a blessed day
Great work you're doing. I don't know if you ever go on podcasts to talk about the SRA and trafficking but if so I'd love to have you on my podcast Truth Talk with Steve that can be found on Rumble. I can be contacted via email 4bigholdings@gmail.com
